I sit here typing a report for work my organization has done, which included programs/assistance in lower 9th ward, especially Sankofa Marketplace. As I do, I think of great organizers and brave citizens who learned new skills and fought the powers for their rights and for their dignity. I salute you Pam Dashiell, and all that continue the work that she and her colleagues have started and will finish.
