Morning Call coming to City Park

In 1974, what many locals consider the better of the two 24-hour French Quarter coffeehouses moved to Metairie, leaving Cafe du Monde all by itself. Since that sad day, Morning Call has done fine out there in Fat City, but for New Orleanians, it's just too far to drive after a night out and well, it's just not the same. The return of this institution to the city is bound to create a great deal of excitement and once opened some thickening waists, but lucky for us the new location is in City Park and a brisk walk around the Big Lake will be possible after an order of beignets and cafe au lait...
