Seems like every generation there are one or two original thinkers. In my lifetime, Wendell Berry is on the top of the list for those of us who are interested in practical knowledge applied. This essay is a classic and it has resurfaced recently so I am delighted to share it with you. I welcome your comments on it..

help save public art

This is a link to an article about neighbors who are fighting city hall. In a city with never ending infrastructure issues, paint on a sidewalk seems like a good resurfacing!
Seriously, the house and sidewalk are amazing and brave; no harm is being done to anyone and instead, we have a couple who are anchoring their block.
