This happened today- wish I could have got there, but my own farmers market duties and tasks scheduled precluded it. The Really Really Free Market is a wonderful movement, been hoping to see one here sooner or later and have worked it into a few different neighborhood market consults, but no bites. Maybe there will be more here...
A Really Really Free Market is being held on Saturday, October 2nd from 12pm - 6pm at the NOLA Art House located at 1614 Esplanade Ave, New Orleans, LA 70116. A Really Really Free Market is essentially a citywide potluck of useable items, skills and many other things that we as a community can come together and share. Really Really Free means no money is exchanged, everything is 100% free. All are welcome. Individuals are required to transport their own selections; minimal loading assistance will be available. All items not selected will be donated to Bridge House. Further information can be obtained
